LabtechMD accepts patients of all ages. Parents & guardians must log in with their own account and select a provider. You will then be prompted to add your child's information. Your child will now be listed as a "minor dependent" on your account.
LabtechMD operates from 8am to 6pm Monday - Saturday by appointment only.
People with COVID-19 can have a wide range of symptoms, ranging from mild to severe illness. Symptoms of COVID-19 include fever or chills, cough, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, fatigue, muscle or body aches, headache, new loss of taste or smell, sore throat, congestion or runny nose, nausea or vomiting, and diarrhea.
Not everyone with COVID-19 will have all symptoms and fever may or may not be present. Symptoms typically appear 2-14 days after exposure to the virus.
Some people are at higher risk of getting very sick from COVID-19. While anyone exposed to the virus can get COVID-19, the risk for serious illness (having to be hospitalized, needing a ventilator, etc.) increases with age. The older you are, the more likely you are to get very sick if you get COVID-19. People of any age with other types of medical conditions are also at a higher risk for serious illness from COVID-19.
Emergency warning signs of COVID-19 can include; trouble breathing, persistent pain or pressure in the chest, new confusion or inability to arouse, or bluish lips or face.
Coronaviruses on surfaces and objects naturally die within hours to days. Warmer temperatures and exposure to sunlight will reduce the time the virus survives on surfaces and objects. Normal routine cleaning with soap and water removes germs and dirt from surfaces.
There is no evidence to suggest that food produced in the United States or imported from countries affected by COVID-19 can transmit COVID-19.
Per the WHO, heat at 56 degrees Celsius kills the SARS coronavirus at around 10,000 units per 15 minutes (quick reduction).
